In 1984 the Black Market club night at the Wag in London launched. Running every Friday for 4 years, it was the night that founded Rare Groove and laid the foundation for Black Market to become an iconic part of the burgeoning dance music scene in the UK.
The legendary Black Market Records shop opened in Soho in 1988... the rest, is history.
